Marquardt earned five NAIA All-America certificates in 1982-83 -- three in cross country and two in track. She won two national championships, claiming titles in the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs, setting NAIA records in both events. Along with the national records, she held three school records and one fieldhouse record by the end of her career.
