Strength & Conditioning

PHILOSOPHY

Milwaukee Strength & Conditioning department’s purpose is to blend training styles to enhance the student-athletes experience. Making sure to find the proper progressions throughout their time to safely improve athletic performance in their sport. Testing occurs during sessions to ensure that the proper physical characteristics are being trained.
Keeping in mind that each sport has individualized needs that are focused on during their time in the weight room. As the year goes on (off-season, pre-season, in-season) the focus shifts depending on the needs of the team and student-athlete. Making sure that we do not take away from the student-athletes’ ability to perform on their playing field.

To better serve our student-athletes we collaborate closely with the Kinesiology department at UW-Milwaukee. This close collaboration allows us to conduct a thorough analysis of our student-athletes with the use of sports science technology and additional resources.
