INDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, the Horizon League announced that Milwaukee junior
Natalie Block was selected as the conference's Runner of the Week for its seventh week of selections during the 2022-23 indoor season.

This is Block's first selection of the season and is Milwaukee's fifth overall selection on the 2022-23 campaign and first in track following four Field Athlete of the Week honorees.

This is the defending Horizon League Indoor Athlete of the Year's fifth career weekly selection overall and third Runner of the Week title. She last earned weekly accolades on April 12 of last year.

Block secured a pair of victories this weekend at the Mark Guthrie Legacy Invitational, taking home the top spot in both the 200m dash and the 60m hurdles. In the 200m she registered a time of 24.93 while also winning the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.43.

Block's 8.43 in the 60m hurdles was a season-best time and leads the Horizon League and is within the top-100 nationally. Block also holds the top position in the league in the pentathlon and is second in long jump, while she is also among the conference leaders in the 200m.
