MILWAUKEE – Seven members of the Milwaukee women's track & field team received honors when the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Teams were announced Thursday.

Cailin Kinas,
Isabel Roloff,
Natalie Block,
Kallie Volk, and
Olivia VanZeeland were named to the team, while
Anna Szepieniec and
Macy Woodward earned nods as honorable mentions.

Kinas has now earned a spot on a Horizon All-Academic team for the sixth time between her outdoor (2024, 2025), indoor (2024, 2025), and cross country (2022, 2024) careers. Holding a perfect 4.00 GPA as senior nutrition major, she had a terrific final season with the Panthers where she reset her own program record in the 3000m steeplechase and placed fifth in the race at the Horizon League championships.

Roloff makes it on the squad again after claiming a spot back in the indoor season. The junior boasts a 4.00 GPA while double majoring in accounting and finance and was selected to the Lubar School of Business' Lubar 25 for this year. On the track, she helped the 4x100m relay team to a runner-up finish at the league championships and recorded the second-best time in school history.

Making her fourth total appearance on the All-Academic team is Block, having made it in both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2024 and the 2023 indoor season. The Graduate Student carries a 3.92 GPA while studying Biomedical Sciences.

Block has continued her success on the track as well, winning league championships in the 100m and 400m hurdles. The performances earned her a spot in the NCAA West Regional Preliminaries, where she will be running tonight in the first rounds at 6:00 p.m.

Volk makes her debut appearance on the team, the sophomore kinesiology major has kept up an unblemished 4.00 GPA. She had strong showing at the league championships, with a third-place finish in the heptathlon where she posted the second-best score in program history. She also earned points for the team in the javelin, high jump and long jump.

VanZeeland is back on the team after being voted on during the indoor season as well. The junior has a GPA of 3.91 while majoring in kinesiology. This season, she won the second league high jump title of her career and moved on to the NCAA West Regional Prelims where she will be competing Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Szepieniec was recognized as an honorable mention, also receiving the same honors in the indoor season. As a kinesiology major, the sophomore has earned a 3.77 GPA. At this year's league championships, she won and set a new school and meet record in the heptathlon, as well as winning a title in the long jump.

Receiving her first All-Academic recognition is Woodward, a junior finance and marketing double major who holds a 3.99 GPA. She was also selected to this year's Lubar School of Business' Lubar 25. She wrapped up her season with a fifth-place performance in the high jump at the league championships.
