Natalie Block USATF Recap 7-25-2026

Natalie Block Records Top-10 Finish at USATF Outdoor Championships

July 25, 2026

NEW YORK – Natalie Block competed in the 400m hurdles at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island, competing against some of the nation's top athletes.

Block crossed the finish line in 56.36 seconds, missing Sunday's championship final by just two-tenths of a second.

"Competing in her first 400-meter hurdles race at the USATF Outdoor Championships, I could not be prouder of Natalie," head coach Andrew Basler said. "While missing out on the final by one spot can be tough, finishing 10th at the national level is a great way for Natalie to end her outdoor career as a Panther."

"Execution-wise, Natalie put together one of the best races of her career," Basler added. "Ultimately, she crossed the line in a near lifetime-best performance."

Block set her personal-best time earlier this spring, clocking a 56.27 at the Raleigh Relays in late March. The mark shattered the previous Milwaukee program record by more than three seconds.

Block closes her senior season after establishing herself as the most accomplished 400m hurdler in program history, highlighted by a school-record performance, her third straight NCAA West Preliminary appearance and a 10th-place finish at the USATF Outdoor Championships.
