A late bloomer in the sport of running, joining track at the end of her sophomore year and cross country at the start of her junior year at Brookfield East High School ... qualified for state in cross country right away as a junior, finishing 107th overall ... one year later, again qualified for state and finished 30 seconds faster in 85th ... also qualified for state in track in both the 3200m and the 4x800m relay as a senior, taking fifth in the 4x800m relay ... was a varsity swimmer during freshman and sophomore seasons ... a WIAA Scholar Athlete.
Personal
Daughter of Andrew and Julie ... lists most memorable sports moment as "senior year at track sectionals when our 4x800m relay qualified for state and broke our school record by 10 seconds...two hours later, I was able to qualify for state in the two mile in the last lap of the race" ... sister,
Clare, runs cross country and track at Carroll University ... born Aug. 2, 1999.
