MILWAUKEE- Three members of the Milwaukee track & field teams were honored when the Horizon League announced their Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. Natalie Block, Jaelyn Reeves-Lile, and Josh Cygan represented the Panthers among this week's winners.
 
Block earns Women's Runner of the Week for the second time this season after her weekend performance at the Jim Green Invitational. She started off in the 400m hurdles on Friday, claiming the victory after cruising to a time of 57.85. She then came back Saturday to run in the 100m hurdles, opening with a prelim time of 13.54, before finishing fourth place at 13.59.
 
Taking home the title of Men's Field Athlete of the Week was Reeves-Lile, who also competed at the Jim Green Invitational this past weekend. In the 200m dash, he improved on his career best that ranks second in school history with a time of 20.94. He then went on to take second place in the 100m dash, crossing the finish line in 10.53.
 
Cygan was named as Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row after his discus throw at the Badger Challenge Friday. The freshman's toss moved up his career best to 53.30m, a mark that places him third on the program's all-time leaderboard.
 
Milwaukee will finish the season with nine Athletes of the Week during the outdoor portion of the schedule, bringing the total number to 20 when including the indoor season.
