MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee swimming & diving's Gabrielle LePine has been named Horizon League Women's Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league on Wednesday.
 
LePine brings home the award for the fourth time this season, and the second week in a row, also earning the honor back on Oct. 23, Nov. 6, and Jan. 29.
 
In the Panthers' dual meet at Stevens Point on Friday, LePine got her first individual win of the day in the 100 breaststroke finishing with a time of 1:02.97. She followed that up in the 200 breaststroke by touching the wall in 2:20.65 to lock up a second first-place finish.
 
LePine also contributed to both the 200 medley (1:46.17) and 400 freestyle (3:36.39) relay teams that claimed top finishes on Friday.
 
Milwaukee will return with their final tune-up before the league championships beginning this Friday at 4:00 p.m., and continuing Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Wisconsin First Chance Meet in Madison, Wis.
