MILWAUKEE- Following an impressive two-win outing at UIC Friday, Gabrielle LePine was announced as Horizon League Women's Swimmer of the Week Wednesday.
 
In Friday's meet, LePine swam in two events as an individual, winning the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.28. She followed that up in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:21.05 for her second first-place finish of the day.
 
The award is the second of its kind this season for LePine, who has been dominant in her first season as a Panther, winning every individual event she has competed in. Milwaukee now has four Horizon League Athlete of the Week winners on the season.
 
LePine and the Panther Swimming & Diving team will be back in action when they travel to Indianapolis for the IU Indy House of Champions Meet from November 21-23.
