MILWAUKEE – On Friday, head coach
Kyle Rechlicz of the Milwaukee women's basketball team announced the addition of Grace Lomen, who will be joining the team beginning in 2024-25.
"Our program got better today with the signing of Grace Lomen," commented Rechlicz on the team's most recent addition. "She brings a high level of toughness and confidence every time she steps onto the court. Her great character will fit in nicely with the amazing young women we already have here."

Lomen played the last two seasons at Division II Parkside, helping the Rangers to 34 wins during her time in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

This past season she saw time in all 28 of the team's games and averaged just over 20 minutes per game. Lomen scored 230 points for an average of 8.2 per game, while connecting on 43.2 percent from the field overall as she went 79-of-183. She also contributed to the team's efforts with 126 rebounds, 53 assists, 43 steals, and five blocks.

As a freshman in 2022-23, she burst onto the scene with a 14-point game in her collegiate debut en route to a year that saw her finish the season making 46.5 percent from the floor with 59 makes in 127 attempts for 190 points. She added 157 rebounds, 38 steals, 35 assists, and five blocks to her ledger.
Off the court at Parkside, Lomen was selected to the prestigious NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis as a freshman, while she was most recently named an Academic All-District Selection by College Sports Communicators in late March.

A native of East Troy, Wisconsin, Lomen played at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha. While with the Crusaders, she scored 1,343 points including a career-high 37-point effort in a 79-78 win over Oconomowoc in late December of her senior year in a game where she scored the 1,000th point of her career. She had a school-record 748 rebounds, to go along with more than 200 steals and assists, and over 100 blocks in high school.
She was selected as a WBCA First Team All-State honoree following her 2021-22 senior season, while other honors in high school included multiple Classic 8 All-Conference and All-Freeman selections, as well as being named Catholic Memorial's Outstanding Female Athlete as a senior. While playing as a freshman at East Troy High School, Lomen was named a first team honoree by the Rock Valley Conference and was named the team's Most Valuable Player.
