Milwaukee Women’s Basketball 2026-27 Horizon League Schedule Announced

September 10, 2026

INDIANAPOLIS – With the start of the college basketball season less than two months away, the Horizon League has announced the 2026-27 conference schedule for the Milwaukee women's basketball team.

The 20-game slate will feature 10 home and 10 road contests, beginning Dec. 3 and culminating with the final date of the regular season on Feb. 27.

Milwaukee will get the longest conference road trip of the season completed early this year, taking on Youngstown State in its conference opener for the third-straight season on Thursday, Dec. 3 before a quick drive down Interstate 376 to take on Robert Morris on Dec. 5.

After the Panthers complete their non-conference slate at Michigan State on Dec. 9, home games against Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 13), and Viterbo (Dec. 20) will round out the non-conference schedule. Milwaukee will then remain home to take on Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 31 and Cleveland State on Jan. 2 to begin the new calendar year.

Trips to Detroit Mercy (Jan. 7), Oakland (Jan. 9), and IU Indy (Jan. 13) will follow before Milwaukee returns home for a stretch of three consecutive games.

Milwaukee welcomes Green Bay to the Klotsche Center on Jan. 16, followed by Horizon League newcomer Northern Illinois on Jan. 21 before hosting Wright State on Jan. 23. The Panthers will then visit Cleveland State on Jan. 28 before returning home to take on Robert Morris on Jan. 31 to wrap up the month.

Milwaukee will visit Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Ky. on Feb. 3 to take on Northern Kentucky, followed by a visit to Wright State on Feb. 6 at the Nutter Center. The team returns home to take on Oakland on Feb. 10, before venturing north to Green Bay on Feb. 13.

The final stretch of the season will see the Panthers welcome Youngstown State (Feb. 17), IU Indy (Feb. 20), and Northern Kentucky (Feb. 25) to Milwaukee before wrapping up the conference slate at Northern Illinois on Feb. 27.

With the addition of Northern Illinois as a full-time member, the schedule will no longer be a true double round-robin, as the Panthers will play two opponents once each. One will be a home contest against Purdue Fort Wayne and the other a road matchup at Detroit Mercy.

With the 20-game conference schedule revealed, coupled with the earlier release of the non-conference schedule in late August. Milwaukee's 32-game regular-season schedule is complete and available at MKEPanthers.com.

The Panthers have also announced a home exhibition contest on Thursday, Oct. 29, against Benedictine, a Division III opponent from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference based in Lisle, Ill.

Game times will be available once they are confirmed. Fans can purchase season memberships online at www.MKEPanthers.com/tickets or by calling (414) 229-5886.
