MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's basketball team has announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season, a 12-game slate featuring six home contests and six games away from the Klotsche Center.

The Panthers will face five teams that posted at least 16 victories a season ago, including three matchups against Big Ten programs in Northwestern, Indiana and Michigan State.

Milwaukee opens the season with three consecutive road contests, beginning with a trip to Northwestern on Nov. 3. The matchup marks the first meeting between the Panthers and Wildcats since 2021 and the third straight game in the series to be played in Evanston. The opening road swing continues two days later, with Milwaukee making its first trip to St. Louis since 1995 for a Nov. 5 matchup with the Billikens. The Panthers then head to SIUE on Nov. 8 to close out the three-game stretch. Milwaukee owns a 5-3 all-time record against St. Louis and has won both previous meetings with the Cougars.

The home portion of the schedule gets underway Nov. 10, when North Dakota visits the Klotsche Center. Milwaukee then heads back to Illinois for a Nov. 14 meeting at Loyola Chicago before traveling to Bloomington the following day to take on Indiana. The Panthers lead the all-time series against Loyola Chicago, 33-15, with the upcoming contest marking the 49th meeting. The game at Indiana will be the first matchup between the programs since the 2018-19 season.

Milwaukee returns to the road Nov. 20 for a visit to Western Michigan before a pair of home contests against Marquette and Toledo. The Golden Eagles come to the Klotsche Center on Nov. 23, followed by a Nov. 29 meeting with the Rockets. The Panthers and Broncos met last season in Milwaukee, with Western Michigan escaping with a one-point victory. The Toledo matchup will mark the first meeting between the programs since the 2012-13 campaign, with the home team winning each of the five previous contests in the series

The Panthers make their final road trip of the non-conference season Dec. 9, when they travel to East Lansing for a matchup with Michigan State. The Spartans won 23 games and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a season ago. Milwaukee then closes the non-conference slate at home, hosting Eastern Kentucky on Dec. 13 before welcoming Viterbo to the Klotsche Center Dec. 20.

Eastern Kentucky finished 25-9 last season and earned the top seed in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament before continuing its postseason run in the WBIT. Milwaukee has faced the Colonels just once previously, earning a 68-64 victory in Puerto Rico during the 2012-13 season.

The Panthers' meeting with Viterbo will be the second in program history. Milwaukee recorded a 100-37 victory over the V-Hawks at the Klotsche Center on Dec. 20, 2023, with the 63-point margin remaining the largest victory in program history.

Milwaukee returns 12 players from last season's roster, including three players who made at least 22 starts in 2025-26 in senior Payton Rechlicz, senior Jada Williams and sophomore Madison Fitzgibbon. The continuity provides the Panthers with a foundation to build upon heading into the 2026-27 campaign.
