CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Milwaukee women's track & field team was back at full capacity after last week's postponement as the Panthers took part in the Fighting Illini Challenge hosted by the University of Illinois at the Demirjian Park complex. The Panthers as a team finished the day with 56.5 points.

Annie Guerrero was Milwaukee's lone winner on the day, picking up the top spot in the high jump as she tied her own program record by clearing a height of 1.75 meters.

Dominique Thomas started her outdoor season off with a pair of personal-best times as she finished second in the 100m dash with a time of 11.63 and eighth in the 200m dash with a time of 24.89. With her times Thomas moved into second on the all-time list in the 100m dash and moved within striking range of the top-10 all-time list in the 200m dash.

Lauren Lietzke also had a second-place finish in the discus at 43.60m.
Samantha Satterfield had a 50.72-meter throw in the hammer for seventh place, while
Jamie Pankratz was eighth at 49.19 meters as the pair combined for three points.

Other point finishers for the Panthers including
Tabitha Wechlo in the shot put at 14.53 meters.
Isabel Roloff was seventh in the pole vault at 3.66 meters, while
Jada Schuh was eighth in the javelin with a 32.23-meter throw.

Alayna Franson recorded a top-five finish in the 3000m steeplechase improving on last weeks' time with a finishing time of 11:26.19.
Sara Jochims also scored points for the Panthers with a seventh-place finish in the event and a new PR time of 11:55.16.

Nadia Vo led Milwaukee in the long jump with a lead of 5.52 meters for sixth place with
Maddy Troy taking eighth place at 5.36 meters.
Adaline Powell secured a seventh-place finish in the triple jump at 11.34 meters.

Just outside the top-10 in her respective event,
Brooke Crosby picked up a 12th place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.22 to move into sixth on the all-time list at Milwaukee.

The Panther 4x100m relay team took fourth with a 47.47, while the 4x400m relay quartet finished eighth at 4:03.58.

Aubrie Gorski set a trio of new PRs in the 200m dash (27.78), the 100m hurdles (15.28), and the long jump (5.21m).

Kortnie Volk had a new personal-best in the 100m hurdles at 15.32, while
Enné Burton hit a new best-time in the 200m dash with a 27.05.

Cloey Fare set a new career-best time of 1:07.55 in the 400m hurdles, while
Aubrey Anderson led the Panthers in the 800m run with a time of 2:18.42 for a new personal-best.

Multiple first-year athletes for the program made their collegiate outdoor debuts and set marks to build off as the team heads forward into the deeper part of the spring campaign.

Milwaukee will once again be a split squad next week when the Panthers will take part in the three-day Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State, as well as the Green & White Invite hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran on April 15. Â
