2022 Outdoor: Took eighth in the 100m hurdles at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 15.89 ... ran a season-best 14.68 in the prelims ... won the 100m hurdles April 14 at the Warrior Invite with a time of 14.70 ... opened outdoor with a 10th-place finish in the 100m hurdles and ninth-place mark in the 400m hurdles April 2 at the Redbird Invite ... placed 14th in the 100m hurdles and 14th in the 400m hurdles at the Texas A&M 44 Farms Invite.
2022 Indoor: Scored in the 60m hurdles at the Horizon League Championships, placing seventh with a time of 8.87 ... opened the indoor campaign with a third-place finish in the 60m hurdles and 11th-place mark in the 200m at the John Gartland Invite on January 22 ... finished runner-up in the 60m hurdles and fourth in the 200m at the Tierney Classic the following week ... took third in the 60m hurdles at the Red Hawk Invite ... ran to a fourth-place finish at the St. Valentine's Invite on February 18.
2020-21 Season
2021 Outdoor: Competed in both the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles at the Horizon League Championships, finishing 14th and eighth, respectively... Opened the outdoor season at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational and earned a pair of top-10 finishes in both hurdles... Finished ninth in the 100-hurdles at the Big Blue Classic, crossing in 15.69... Also placed 13th in the 400-hurdles that same weekend... Saw action in both hurdle events at the Gibson Invitational... Finished the 100-meter hurdles in 15.13 at the Clark Wood Invitational, setting a new personal record... Won the 400-meter hurdles at the Valpo Invitational, crossing in 1:07.67... Also placed third in the 100-meter hurdles (15.23).
2021 Indoor: Raced the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles at the Horizon League Championships, just missing the finals with a ninth-place finish of 9.06, a personal-best time... Opened the year at the Panther Invite and finished sixth in the short hurdles with a time of 9.70... Won the 60-meter hurdles at the home John Tierney Classic with a time of 9.26... Also placed sixth in the 200-meter race, crossing in 27.95... Recorded a personal-best in the 55-meter hurdles at the Parkside Triangular, placing second in 8.66 seconds... Contributed to a third-place finish for the MKE 4x400-meter relay... Raced to a new PR in the 200-meter dash at the Panther Tune-Up, placing ninth with a time of 27.67... Also finished second in the 60-meter hurdles at the home event.
2019-20 Season
2020 Outdoor: Season cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 Indoor: Finished 11th in the 60m hurdles at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 9.66 ... opened the season placing 16th in the 60m hurdles at Gene Edmonds, Jan. 10 (9.74) ... one week later, finished sixth in the 60m hurdles at the Tierney Classic, Jan. 18 (9.47) ... competed again in the 60m hurdles at the Illini Invite, Jan. 24 (9.61) ... at the ONU Invite, Feb. 1, ran the 200m to 29th (29.20) and ran a season-best time of 9.40 in the 60m hurdles to qualify for finals ... raced for a pair of seventh-place finishes in both the 400m (1:05.87) and the 60m hurdles (9.42) at the Panther Tune-Up, Feb. 22
2018-19 Season
2019 Outdoor: Finished 12th in the 400m hurdles at the Horizon League Championships ... started her outdoor season taking eighth in the 100m hurdles in 15.68 seconds ... one week later, clocked her first 400m hurdles at 1:07.71 at the Jack Shaw Classic ... lowered that time to 1:06.32 in a third-place finish at Kentucky April 20 ... had a season-best 100m hurdle time of 15.48 at Illinois.
2019 Indoor: Competed in the 60m hurdles as a freshman at the Horizon League Championships ... made her collegiate debut Jan. 12 at the Badger Icebreaker, taking 10th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.73 seconds ... lowered that time to 9.58 and came in fifth just one week later at the Tierney Classic ... had a season-best time of 9.37 seconds, taking second overall at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 16 ... also competed in the 400m once on the season.
High School
Burst onto the scene early on but saved her best for last at Wausau West High School ... capped her senior season by qualifying for the outdoor state meet in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles and 4x200m ... graduates with personal bests of 15.38 (100m hurdles) and 46.06 (300m hurdles) ... during her entire senior season over all hurdle events, Burton finished first an outstanding 20 of the 29 times running ... a four-time conference champ in hurdle events ... also competed in cross country and cross country skiing in high school, finishing 10th at state sprints ... a four-year honor roll student while also being on the National Honors Society and earning an International Baccalaureate Certificate.
