Track & Field Maintain Rankings both Nationally and in Great Lakes Region

NEW ORLEANS – The Milwaukee track & field programs have continued their stay in the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association national and regional ratings index for the third week of the 2022-23 indoor campaign.
 
The men's team currently holds the 93rd position nationally and are second among Horizon League teams placed in the index. The Panthers trail Youngstown State, who are 90th in this week's rankings, while the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland are up to the 101st position of the 143 NCAA Division I programs ranked across the country.
 
The men's program slipped one spot in the Great Lakes regional ranking to the 15th position but hold a team score of 61.88 in the rankings. Youngstown State also slipped one spot into the 10th position.
 
The women's team held steady at the 15th position in the Great Lakes region from a week ago and have a team score of 46.79. Horizon foe Youngstown State is 10th in the women's index.
 
Milwaukee heads to Michigan on Friday to take part in the Grand Valley State Big Meet, starting early on Friday morning at the Kelly Family Sports Center in Allendale, Michigan.
