EVANSTON, Ill. – The Milwaukee tennis team faced Big Ten powerhouse Northwestern Saturday at the Combe Tennis Center and fell by a score of 7-0.
The Panthers (0-8) had their work cut out for them having to face a team that is receiving votes in the NCAA polls, in addition to potentially facing two nationally ranked doubles teams.
"Northwestern (5-3) is consistently one of the top-ranked teams in the country, and they proved why today," Milwaukee head coach
Jason Potthoff said. "It was good for us to see what that level of tennis."

Anna Daniel Fuentes teamed up for the seventh time this season and faced off against 12
th-ranked Lee Or and Alex Chatt. The Panthers managed to win one game, but ultimately fell 6-1.
The Wildcats were able to complete the win with strong showing in singles play sweeping all matches.
Milwaukee will enter the second half of their non-conference schedule with three-straight home matches beginning Saturday, Feb. 24 against South Dakota State.
