May 26, 2026

MILWAUKEE – Head coach Mark Goldin has announced that Karolina Skowronska will transfer into the program and join the roster of the Milwaukee women's tennis team.

Skowronska, who is from Wroclaw, Poland, comes to Milwaukee from Chicago State, where she earned Second-Team Northeast Conference accolades in both singles and doubles play this past school year.

"Karolina will add to our talented roster next season," Goldin said. "Karolina is a great player with a ton of experience. With her current skillset, combined with our training program, she will thrive here in Milwaukee. I am beyond excited to start working with her on court and see just how she will take her game. Welcome to the family Karolina!"

Skowronska posted a team-best 12 singles victories for the Cougars in 2025-26, excelling in her role as the team's No. 1 player. She was a two-time NEC Player of the Week (March 5 and March 31), went 10-10 at from the No. 1 line and was a perfect 4-0 in conference matchups to pick up the second-team all-league honors.

In doubles, she posted 14 total victories on the season, including an 11-8 ledger with partner Mackenzie King (3-1 in NEC play), earning her the second-team status. In the process, she became the first Cougar to earn NEC postseason recognition.

Skowronska was at Louisiana Lafayette for two seasons prior to Chicago State and will be a graduate transfer into the Milwaukee program.
