MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's tennis team was named nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as one of its All-Academic teams, while eight student-athletes on the active roster were named ITA Scholar Athletes, announced today by the organization.

Emilia Durska, Nadiia Konieva, Laure Razet, Elisa Rubio, Svava Schroeder, Sara Simonova, Nel Van Hout, and Honoka Yamashita were named 2026-26 ITA Scholar Athletes, and the Panthers were one of 231 programs to earn the honor as a team.
 
The squad a recorded a department-best 3.871 grade-point average for Spring 2026, and holds a 3.753 cumulative GPA as a program, which is the second-highest of all Milwaukee teams.
 
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
*Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
*Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
