MILWAUKEE – Head coach
Mark Goldin has announced a new addition to the roster of the Milwaukee women's tennis team with the signing of Natalia Castaneda Guerrero.
"Natalia will be a great addition to the program," Goldin said. "With her tennis skill and experience, she will make an immediate impact for our team, and she is also a perfect fit for the team culture we have built."
Castaneda Guerrero, a native of Córdoba, Mexico, will transfer into the program following a successful freshman campaign at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
She wrapped up the season with overall marks of 7-4 in singles as well as a 13-5 ledger in doubles play. She competed at No. 6 in all of her singles matches this past school year and holds a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 8.9.
Castaneda racked up a total of 15 junior finals appearances in her time before UTSA and also recorded 11 junior championships.
"The girls and I are beyond excited for her to be joining the family," Goldin added.
