GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Tuesday morning, College Sports Communicators announced its annual Academic All-District Team for cross country and track & field.
 
Milwaukee was well represented on the list, with a dozen student-athletes recognized for both their academic success in the classroom while also competing at a high level in their  respective sports.
 
Earning recognition were Natalie Block, Brooke Crosby, Ethan Criter, Tim Maidment, Lucas Picco, Zac Schmidt, Sam Schreiber, Aidan Sosnowski, Anna Szepieniec, Olivia VanZeeland, Kallie Volk, and Macy Woodward.
 
Block has a 3.97 GPA and was ranked in the top five in the region in two events while also earning a national ranking in the 400m hurdles. Block previously earned Academic All-District honors in both 2025 and 2024.
 
Criter owns a 3.85 GPA and was regionally ranked in the outdoor 400m hurdles this past season.
 
Crosby is among the team leaders with a 3.96 GPA and was regionally ranked in both the 100m hurdles and the 400m hurdles during the outdoor campaign.
 
Maidment boasts a 3.73 GPA and performed well during the outdoor season in the long jump, earning a top-50 regional ranking.
 
Picco has a 3.71 GPA and was regionally ranked in the 800m run during the indoor season. This is Picco's second straight selection after earning Academic All-District honors in 2025.
 
Schmidt has a 3.37 GPA and was regionally ranked in the 400m dash during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
 
Schreiber owns a 3.72 GPA and was regionally ranked in the 3,000m steeplechase during the outdoor season.
 
Sosnowski has registered a 3.79 GPA and, like Schreiber, was also regionally ranked in the 3,000m steeplechase during the outdoor season.
 
Szepieniec has a 3.77 GPA and was regionally ranked in five events during the indoor season and six events during the outdoor campaign.
 
VanZeeland boasts a 3.92 GPA and was a top-15 regional performer in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. VanZeeland also earned Academic All-District honors in 2025.
 
Volk owns a 4.00 GPA and was regionally ranked in a multitude of events this season. She earned regional rankings in four events during the indoor campaign and five more during the outdoor season. This is Volk's second selection to the Academic All-District Team, previously earning honors in 2025.
 
Woodward rounds out Milwaukee's list of 12 honorees with a 3.94 GPA. She was regionally ranked in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
