MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee track & field team secured three of the Horizon League weekly awards, announced by the league office Tuesday.

Sam Schreiber and Natalie Block took home the Runners of the Week honors, while Anna Szepieniec received the Women's Field Athlete of the Week nod for the Panthers.

Schreiber receives his first outdoor track & field weekly award after an impressive steeplechase performance at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. He turned in the third-fastest time in program history with his 9:04.14 outing, and he currently ranks second in the Horizon League for the event.

Earning her second weekly nod of the outdoor season is Block after two solid performances at Duke. In the 100-meter hurdle prelims, she cracked the top three, running a 13.23. Block also recorded a runner-up finish in the 400-meter hurdles where she crossed the line in 57.12. She holds the top spots in the Horizon League for both events.

Szepieniec receives her first weekly outdoor accolade of the season after two top-5 performances in Durham, N.C. In the long jump, she finished fourth with her 6.12-meter leap. Szepieniec's effort currently ranks second in the Panther record books for the event and first in the Horizon League.
