Men’s Cross Country Finishes Third at Tom Barry Invitational

August 30, 2025

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Milwaukee Panthers men's cross country team opened their season at St. Norbert's Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday morning.

The Panthers finished in third place totaling 74 points, placing three runners in the top 10.

Cullen Boyle took home fourth place with a time of 19:07.2, a nearly 46-second improvement from the Tom Barry Invitational a season ago.

Sam Schreiber crossed the finish line in seventh place, recording a time of 19:16.3. Finishing eighth was Will Whiteis with a time of 19:20.2.

Aidan Sosnowski notched a time of 20:01.9, shaving 21 seconds off his performance at this event a year ago. Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers was Harper Fahey with a time of 20:27.2.

"It was exciting to get our 2025-26 campaign started today," head coach Andrew Basler noted. "Coach Schultz had a very specific race plan for both the men and women, and I thought they executed that plan."

"Comparison can be the thief of joy but looking at where the group was last season at this meet, we are collectively in a much better spot," Basler concluded.

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 6 when they make their way back to Green Bay for the Phoenix Open.
