COLLEGE STATION, Tex. – Divine Aniamaka closed out his season competing in the triple jump at the NCAA West Regional Preliminary Rounds in College Station, Texas Friday.
Aniamaka broke the program's record in the event with a huge leap of 15.42m to finish 28th place on the day. He had previously tied the record at 15.39m back at the Horizon League Championships.
In addition to being the school record holder, Aniamaka finishes the season as the Horizon League Champion in the triple jump, and was named to the leagues All-Academic team on Thursday.
Tomorrow, Olivia VanZeeland will be competing in the high jump at 3:30 p.m. to start the day for the Panthers.
On the track, Natalie Block will be running in the quarterfinals of the 100m hurdles at 6:15 p.m. and the 400m hurdles at 7:25 p.m. and available to watch on
