MILWAUKEE - Divine Aniamaka of the Milwaukee track & field team was announced as Horizon League Men's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday morning.
 
Aniamaka earned the honor after his performance in the triple jump at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, finishing second with a distance of 15.30m.
 
The jump by Aniamaka ranks as the best by a Horizon League athlete thus far in the early part of the outdoor season by over 1.50m and moves him into third place on the Milwaukee all-time leaderboard.
 
The award is the first of Aniamka's career, and the first of the outdoor season for the Panthers after collecting 11 during the indoor season.
 
Milwaukee will return to action this Saturday when they make the trip to the Ashton May Invite, hosted by UW-La Crosse at the Veteran Memorial Field Sports Complex, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
