MILWAUKEE- Ben Lorenz and Brielle Laube of the Milwaukee swimming & diving team were named Horizon League Swimmers of the Week in an announcement from the league Wednesday.

Lorenz earned the honors after his outing at the Wisconsin First Chance Meet Friday saw him break the school's 50 freestyle record with a time of 19.97. The performance is the first time a Panther has ever broken the 20-second mark in the event.
