Panthers Set Multiple Personal Bests at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Milwaukee cross country team ran in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet hosted by the University of Evansville on Friday.
 
The Panthers were led by Sam Schreiber, who turned in a 10K personal best on Angel Mounds Cross Country Course. The senior clocked a time of 32:37.6.
 
Cullen Boyle also recorded a personal best in the 10K race, crossing the finish line in 32:48.4.
 
The next Panther to complete the regional race was Will Whiteis, who put a cap on his impressive sophomore season with a time of 33:47.1.
 
Two members of the Black & Gold competed in their first NCAA Regional meet, with Zach Moss crossing the finish line in 34:23.8 and Alex Anewenter turning in a time of 34:33.3.
 
Notre Dame took home the regional crown totaling 60 points. Butler and Wisconsin followed, turning in 75 points and 99 points, respectively.
 
In the 10K race, Milwaukee finished 29th out of 30 teams, totaling 743 points.
