NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Five athletes competed for the Milwaukee track and field teams at the Carius/Gregory Invitational on Thursday and Friday afternoon from the Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.
Kate Watson opened the action for the Panthers on Thursday, finishing second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.90m.
On Friday,
Michael Gorman posted a time of 10.74 seconds in the qualifiers for the 100m before taking eighth in the finals at 10.79 seconds.
Golden Cotton crossed the line at 21.92 seconds in the 200m to finish fourth overall while
Anya Athan ran in the women's 400m, placing eighth at 1:00.38.
Brett Clevidence was third in the pole vault, throwing 50.09m.
Qualifying athletes will head to Fayetteville, Ark. for the NCAA West Regionals. The regional meet will run Wednesday, May 25 through Saturday, May 28.
