2024-25 (Freshman)
Closed his season at the Horizon League Championships, winning Freshman of the Meet after taking second in the 1650 free with program record time of 15:26.51, setting a school record in the 500 free (4:25.18) and placing fourth, and finishing fifth in the 400 IM with a program freshman-best time of 3:53.48... helped the 800 freestyle relay team to a school record (6:32.60)... competed at IU Indy's House of Champions meet, taking sixth in the 1650 free, and 10th in the 500 free and 400 IM... started the season at the Wisconsin Showcase on October 19, winning the 400 IM and 500 free, and taking second in the 200 free... won the 500 and 1000 free against Green Bay on January 25... took first place in the 1000 free against IU Indy on October 26... won the 200 free and 200 back at Stevens Point on January 31... won Horizon League Swimmer of the Week on January 29th.

High School: Swam for three years at Woodbury High School in Woodbury, Minn… Won the Minnesota State Championship in the mile…  Named Team MVP.
 
Personal: Son of Eric and Gayle Severson… Father swam at Wisconsin and his mother played basketball at North Central College... A computer science major… His most memorable sports experience was winning the mile at state and 2024 high school swim season… He is an Eagle Scout… Chose Milwaukee because of the team culture and the academics… Born Sept. 5^th, 2005.
