Started 13 games for Milwaukee, making 14 total appearances... named to the All-League Second Team for the second straight season... finished 5-5 with a 4.10 ERA and a team-high 85 strikeouts... ranked in the league's top 10 in ERA, opposing batting average (7th, .263), innings pitched (6th, 79.0), strikeouts, and wins... in eight Horizon League starts, he finished second in the league with a 3.18 ERA and third with 59 strikeouts... recorded two 10-strikeout performances and had at least eight strikeouts on seven occasions... earned a win in the first game of the year, throwing five innings while allowing just one earned run and striking out 10... named Horizon League Pitcher of the Week on March 15 after throwing 6.2 scoreless games against Dayton to lead MKE to a 6-2 victory... locked up his first career save on April 5 against Valparaiso, throwing a scoreless seventh inning... allowed just three hits and struck out 10 in eight innings against Northern Kentucky on April 1 to help the Panthers top the Norse 5-3 for his third win of the year... capped the year with an incredible complete-game shutout of Wright State, allowing just five hits and striking out seven on May 19 as he was named Horizon League Pitcher of the Week for the second time.

Earned 14 starts in his first year for the Panthers, the most for a freshman in Panthers' history... named to the All-League Second Team and the All-Freshman Team... posted a 3.60 ERA which led Milwaukee starters and ranked fifth in the Horizon League... recorded a 2-9 record as the regular Friday starter... totaled 80.0 innings pitched, tops for MKE and third most in the league... also finished top-10 in the league in strikeouts (8th, 67) and opposing batting average (9th, .273)... his 67 strikeouts set a new MKE freshman record... notched three complete games, the most for any Panther pitcher, which ranked third in the league and 33rd in Division I... the three complete games is also tied for second most in program history for a MKE freshman... totaled eight outings of at least five innings pitched with two or less earned runs allowed... made his collegiate debut at Kentucky on February 27 and allowed just two earned runs on five hits across 4.0 innings... impressed on March 12 at UIC, striking out a season-high eight batters across six scoreless innings in a no decision... picked up his first collegiate win on April 2 at Oakland, matching his season-best of eight strikeouts and allowing just three hits in five innings... went all 7.0 innings against Horizon League Pitcher of the Year Colin Floyd on April 9 and allowed just two earned runs while striking out six in a 2-1 loss... earned the win on April 16 against Illinois State, again striking out eight and scattering seven hits across six innings... held the best offense in the country, Wright State, to just one earned run on two hits in a complete game but took the loss as MKE fell 2-0... again held the Raiders in check in the Horizon League Tournament on May 27, holding Wright State to four earned runs in the opener.
