MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee men's basketball program will open the 2026-27 Horizon League season at home against defending Horizon League champion Wright State Dec. 3, highlighting the conference schedule announced today by the league office.
 
The Panthers will play 20 Horizon League contests, including 10 games at home and 10 on the road. The conference has gone to an uneven schedule this season with the addition of new member Northern Illinois, with Milwaukee playing all teams home and road with the exclusion of Detroit Mercy (on road Dec. 30) and IU Indy (at home Feb. 19).

Following the conference opener against Wright State, Milwaukee will make its first league road trip of the season Dec. 5, traveling to Northern Illinois. The Panthers will then close out the calendar year with a pair of road contests, visiting Detroit Mercy Dec. 30 before opening 2027 at Oakland Jan. 3.
 
Milwaukee returns home for three of its next four contests, beginning with Purdue Fort Wayne Jan. 7. Northern Kentucky follows Jan. 9 before the Panthers head to Cleveland State Jan. 14. Milwaukee then returns to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena to host Youngstown State Jan. 17.
 
The Panthers will close out the first month of the new year with a rematch against Oakland Jan. 20 before making the short trip north to Green Bay Jan. 23. Milwaukee returns home to welcome Robert Morris Jan. 27 and Northern Illinois Jan. 30.
 
The Panthers begin February on the road at Purdue Fort Wayne Feb. 4 before returning home to host Green Bay Feb. 7. Milwaukee then heads to Northern Kentucky Feb. 11 and Wright State Feb. 13.
 
The regular-season stretch run features four of Milwaukee's final six games at home. The Panthers welcome IU Indy to Milwaukee Feb. 19 before hosting Cleveland State Feb. 21. Milwaukee then closes the regular season with a pair of road contests, traveling to Robert Morris Feb. 24 and Youngstown State Feb. 27.
