Walker was added to head coach Bart Lundy's staff as an assistant coach for the program team in August of 2022. He was elevated to Associate Head Coach in July of 2024 and was an instrumental part of 20-win campaigns in each of his first three seasons, the best stretch for the program since four consecutive from 2002-2006.

The coaches selected to the list continue to make an impact across college basketball through recruiting, player development, game preparation, relationship building, and shaping the culture and success of their programs. Their work plays a major role both on and off the court while helping develop the next generation of players.
