MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee men's swim & dive team topped conference opponent Green Bay 176-103 in the Klotsche Natatorium Saturday.
 
"Another solid performance today," said head coach Kyle Clements. "As we hit this championship season, we are seeing the hard work of our training from first semester kick in."
 
The win marked the Black & Gold's fifth straight victory over the Phoenix, extending the Panthers' series advantage to 19-13.
 
Milwaukee was led by Caleb Carlisle, who nabbed two victories and pool records on the day. In the 100 Breaststroke, the sophomore set a new career-best with his 55.13 effort. His time currently ranks second in the Panther record books for the event. Carlisle also won the 100 Butterfly with his 48.07 performance.
 
Gunnar Seversen also found himself on top of the podium twice against Green Bay with wins in the 200 Freestyle (1:39.67) and the 500 Freestyle (4:36.21).
 
In his first meet of 2026, Sam Lorenz built on his sophomore campaign success. In the 50 Freestyle, Lorenz took the crown with a 20.22 performance, finishing over one second faster than the next swimmer. He also won the 200 Backstroke where he touched the wall in 1:49.75.
 
In the diving events, Will Francis received the most points in the 1-meter and 3-meter Dives, collecting scores of 269.10 and 247.43, respectively.
 
The squad of Lorenz, Andrew Jones, Carlisle, and Charlie House put together a pool-record performance in the 200 Medley Relay with their 1:27.93 outing.
 
House also saw success in the 100 Freestyle where he touched the wall first in 45.24.
 
Logan Beebe claimed the top spot on the podium in the 200 Butterfly. The freshman clocked a time of 1:54.67.
 
Another freshman, Emre Arican, finished first in the home meet. Arican won the 200 IM, completing the event in 1:54.30.
 
"We are yet to see everyone consistently look sharp, but we are seeing the stroke and technique hold strong through the fatigue of a race. I like where we are, and I am looking forward to seeing where these next few weeks take us," said Clements.
