"It was great to see reigning Horizon League champion
Anelise Egge let loose and take control from the beginning," head coach

Janiyah Taylor was the next Panther to complete the race, finishing 14

Rachel Helm and
Anna Gallagher finished 32

"As a whole, it was a good step forward in the right direction. As we progress through the season, the ladies will have to close that time gap between our first and fifth runners. I'm very confident they will continue to grow in that area as they stack together more training sessions," Basler concluded.
