GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Milwaukee baseball team was named a recipient of the Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The award highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2023-24 academic year.

Milwaukee was one of just four teams from the Horizon League to earn the honor, joining Northern Kentucky, Oakland, and Youngstown State. A total of 108 Division I programs were recognized this season.
 
The Panthers currently boasts a 3.371 cumulative team grade-point average as a team following the spring 2025 term, which includes 16 student-athletes recording GPAs of 3.50 or higher.
 
Five Panthers were named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team this season including Tyler Bickers, Keagon Kaufmann, Teige Lethert, Logan Snow, and Gavin Theis. Additionally, Aric Ehmke and Aiden Fishnick were also recognized as Academic All-District selections by College Sports Communicators.
