GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Milwaukee baseball team was named a recipient of the Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
 
The award highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2025-26 academic year.

Milwaukee was one of just three teams from the Horizon League to earn the honor, joining Northern Kentucky and Oakland. A total of 133 Division I programs were recognized this season.
 
This past fall semester, the team had a 3.402 GPA and followed that up with a 3.479 GPA in the spring. In the spring, 18 members of the baseball team recorded a GPA above a 3.50 with five earning a 4.00 GPA.

Five Panthers were named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team this season including Aric Ehmke, Aiden Fishnick, Bradyn Horn, Camden Kuhnke, and Charlie Marion, while all five were also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
