WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Panther cross country team competed at the Warrior Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran Saturday morning.
 
Milwaukee's sole competing runner, Grace Kline, had an exceptional day on the course at Greenfield Park.
 
"We just had one lady race the 6K today with Grace," Andrew Basler noted. "She eclipsed the 25-minute barrier for the first time on a tough course. This should give her some confidence as we prepare for the Bradley Pink Classic."
 
Kline claimed a sixth-place finish in the 88-runner field, completing the 6K with a time of 24:58.75. Kline set a personal best on the day, running over six seconds faster than her previous personal best.
 
Milwaukee now prepares for the Bradley Pink Classic hosted by Bradley University on Friday, Oct. 17 in Peoria, Ill.
