MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee women's cross country runner
Anelise Egge has been named Horizon League Women's Runner of the Week, the league announced this afternoon.
Continuing a standout season, Egge finished 10th in a competitive 205-runner field at the Bradley Pink Classic held in Peoria, Ill on Friday. The senior clocked a 6K time of 20:52.77.
This marked Egge's fourth top-10 finish of the season in five total outings.
The nod marks Egge's second weekly honor this season and fourth of her career. She previously earned Freshman of the Week honors in October of 2022 and two previous Runner of the Week honors which occurred in October of 2024 and Sept 9th of this season.
