MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's cross country team ran at the 21st annual Bradley Pink Classic on Friday in Peoria, Ill.
The Panthers finished 17th out of 24 total teams, recording 486 points on the day.
Anelise Egge, the reigning Horizon League Cross Country Female Athlete of the Year, was the top finisher for Milwaukee, taking home a 10th-placed finish out of 204 competing runners with a time of 20:52.8. This outing marks Egge's fourth top-10 finish of her senior campaign.
Rachel Helm and
Janiyah Taylor were the next Panthers to complete the race clocking times of 22:42.07 and 23:01.33, respectively.
The Black & Gold saw two runners set personal bests on the day.
Isabella Switalski ran the 6K event in 23:19.4, and
Grace Kline crossed the finish line at 24:09.3.

The Panthers look ahead to Nov. 1 for the Horizon League Championships hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne. The event will be held at Mastodon Cross Country Course starting at 11 a.m.
