SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Milwaukee's track & field teams completed day one of Notre Dame's Meyo Invite Friday afternoon.
 
Evan Bartelsen had a tremendous performance in the pole vault, moving into third place on the school's all-time leaderboard when he cleared 4.96m and finished second on the day.
 
In the long jump, 
Anthony Buford had the best jump of his freshman campaign, reaching 7.15m to give him the seventh-best performance in school history. On the women's side, 
Anna Szepieniec reached 5.69m to find the podium with a third-place finish.
 
Caden Thomas continued his impressive season in the high jump, clearing 1.96m to take the crown in the event.
 
On the track, 
Dominique Thomas competed in the 200m dash, finishing in 24.59 to take second place.
 
Isabel Roloff made it out of the qualifying round in the 60m dash, crossing the finish line in 7.77. She will join Thomas in competing in the prelims of the event at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.
 
The Panthers will begin their day tomorrow at 9:40 a.m. in the 800m run and start field events in the women's pole vault at 12:00 p.m. Afternoon track events will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 1:00 p.m.
