High School: Graduated from Fredrick Douglas High School in Detroit, Mich… Helped the Hurricanes to a regional title as a Junior… Won individual State Titles in the 400m and the Long Jump… Named to three All-American teams, eight All-State, and 14 All-City teams… Holds the school record in the 400m as well as the school and state record in the long jump… Also helped the basketball team to two district titles, being named the All-State and All-District second teams… Earned honor roll sophomore, junior and senior year.
Personal: Son of Ray and Keonda Buford… A psychology major… Chose Milwaukee because he likes Coach Basler’s approach to coaching.
