FAYETTEVILLE – Ahead of tomorrow's Panther Tune-Up, the regular season finale for Milwaukee's track & field program, senior hurdler
Natalie Block headed to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete at the Arkansas Qualifier meet.
Block competed in just one event at the qualifier, the 60m hurdles. The current Milwaukee record holder, Block finished sixth in the preliminary heats with a time of 8.43 seconds to advance to the finals. Block was able to improve her time to an 8.27 mark in the final race, earning third in the event.
"It was a nice opportunity for her to continue to ramp up for the Horizon League Championships coming up," head coach
Andrew Basler said. "There was a lot of good competition, and she performed well."
Block will join her teammates tomorrow at the Panther Tune-Up, hosted by Milwaukee at the Klotsche Center. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
