MILWAUKEE- After a successful 2024 campaign for the Milwaukee women's cross country team,
Cailin Kinas and
Anelise Egge have both received Horizon League All-Academic honors. Kinas was named to the All-Academic Team, while Egge was an honorable mention selection.

Kinas got the nod for the second time in her career, with her last selection coming in 2022. She also earned a spot on the All-Horizon League Second-Team with an 11
th-place finish at the Horizon League Championships Nov. 2. The senior has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout her academic career, making the league's academic honor roll four times.

Egge grabbed a spot as an honorable mention choice following a fantastic season in which she finished as the Horizon League Individual Champion. She also has made the league's academic honor roll twice in her career and has earned a 3.25 GPA in her time at Milwaukee.

The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale), have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits, and participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests. An Honorable Mention team is awarded to student-athletes who received at least 25 percent of votes, but did not make the All-Academic team.
