CHICAGO- The Milwaukee men's swimming & diving team competed in a dual meet against UIC Friday night, the Flames came out on top by a score of 189-111. The loss drops the team to 0-2 (0-1 Horizon League) in dual meets on the season.

The Panthers won five events on the day, including the 200 freestyle relay to close the evening with a time of 1:23.54.

Caleb Carlisle showed out with the best performance of the night taking the top spot in both the 100 (49.35) and 200 (1:48.92) butterfly in his first official meet with the Panthers.

In the 50 freestyle,
Ben Lorenz touched the wall in 21.00 to claim first in the event.

Alvin Valkki rounded out the winners for the Panthers, capturing first place in the 100 breaststroke (56.08).

In the distance events,
Gunnar Seversen finished with a pair of second-place finishes in the 500 (4:37.47) and 1000 (9:39.22) freestyles.
