"The team took some really good steps forward heading into our conference championship weekend," noted head coach Andrew Basler on both events for the Panthers this weekend. "If you look across all of the events, there were a lot of personal bests or near personal bests and we are definitely setting ourselves up to have a pretty successful weekend next week."

Cotton registered a 10.54 mark in the preliminaries to qualify for the finals, and ultimately broke the record in the finals with the 10.44 mark as he took fourth in the finals.
