MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's swimming and diving program begins their 2023-24 schedule on Friday as they host Indiana State at the Klotsche Natatorium starting at 2:00 PM.
Indiana State finished the 2022-23 season 7-3 overall, taking second place at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships, and returning one individual podium finisher.
PRESEASON #3
The Milwaukee women's swimming and diving team will be entering the 2023-24 season ranked third in the Horizon League, according to the coaches' poll released by the league office.
Milwaukee finished last season in third place at the league championships, scoring 606.5 points. The Panthers were behind only IUPUI and Oakland. For the season, Milwaukee went 5-2 overall with a 2-0 mark in the conference.
Highlighting the Panthers' returners is
Julie Rebek, who is coming off an individual third place finish in the 3-Meter dive. The Milwaukee 400 freestyle relay team came in third at the meet and will return
Grace Mayes and
Erika Thomas. Also on the podium was the 200 freestyle relay team, who will return Mayes and
Nhia Caras.

ALUMNI BACK IN TOWN
Following the women's meet on Friday, both the men's and women's programs will host former Panthers for their annual alumni meet on Saturday. Milwaukee alums will compete against current Panthers, beginning at 12 PM in the Klotche Natatorium.
