MILWAUKEE – Kentrell Pullian of Benton Harbor, Mich., has signed with the Milwaukee men's basketball team, head coach
Bart Lundy announced today.
Pullian is coming off an outstanding first season at Eastern New Mexico, earning 2022 Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year and LSC All-Freshman Team accolades following his initial collegiate campaign.
"We would like to welcome Kentrell to our program," Lundy said. "KP is a not only a good player, but he is a relentless competitor and worker. We expect great things for KP here at Milwaukee."
Pullian led the Greyhounds in scoring with 12.0 points per game, rebounds per game with 5.2, and also with his 3.3 assists per contest. He appeared in 24 games (19 starts), finishing the season with 288 points, 124 rebounds, and 78 assists while shooting 74.2 percent from the free-throw line.
Pullian scored a career-high 25 points against Lubbock Christian and pulled down 10 rebounds while handing out eight assists against Dallas Baptist in February, all marks finishing as season-highs for the squad. He posted a pair of double-doubles during the season, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Oklahoma Christian in January while adding 17 points to those 10 rebounds against DBU.
He played at Benton Harbor High School, earning first team all-state and first team all-conference honors as a senior. He helped lead the team to a quarterfinals appearance in the Division II Michigan State Championships while compiling 20 points per game, six rebounds per game, and five assists per game during his senior year.
