CHICAGO, Ill. – The Milwaukee men's and women's diving team wrapped up the regular season of competition at the UIC Diving Invitational on Saturday at Flames Natatorium.
Jared Kleczka led the men's team with a pair of fourth-place finishes. Competing against 18 other divers, the junior recorded a score of 276.15 on the one-meter board and followed that up with a score of 312.45 on the three-meter.
Adam St. John was close behind Kleczka in both events, finishing fifth on the one-meter with a score of 268.65 and sixth on the three-meter at 288.90.
Ben Stitgen and Maxwell Deters also competed for the Panthers, with Stitgen earning a pair of seventh-place finishes. The freshman scored 263.35 on the one-meter and 282.90 on the three-meter. Deters placed one spot behind Stitgen on the three-meter with a score of 263.80 and finished 12th on the one-meter at 246.45.
On the women's side,
McKenzie Sanchez competed against 20 other divers and finished third on the one-meter with a score of 286.00. She placed fourth on the three-meter at 288.70.
These Missiaen placed eighth on the three-meter (254.40) and ninth on the one-meter (223.10).
Milwaukee will conclude its season at the Horizon League Championships, which begins Wednesday, February 16 in Indianapolis.
