MKE Men’s Basketball Adds Kyle Ross To Roster

Summer practice for the team begins today

MILWAUKEE – Kyle Ross is set to join the roster of the Milwaukee men's basketball team, head coach Pat Baldwin officially announced today.

Ross, a 6-foot, 7-inch forward, comes to the Panthers from Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana.

"Kyle is an extremely important addition to our team," Baldwin said. "We love his versatility and ability to play multiple positions. He has a very good skill set that enables him to shoot from the perimeter and attack off the dribble."

After winning a state title at Andrean High School in 2019, Ross finished out his prep career at Lake Central. A season ago, he averaged 18.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game en route to second-team all-area honors.

"He will have a bright future," Baldwin said. "We are very excited to welcome Kyle to our program."

During the 2018-19 campaign, Ross helped the 59ers win their first state championship in program history. He came up big in the Class 2A state final, scoring 16 points while adding seven rebounds and three blocks as the team finished 21-8 overall.

According to 24/7 Sports composite rankings, he is ranked No. 12 in the state of Indiana.
