MILWAUKEE – Jason Sinani has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Milwaukee men's basketball team, head coach
Pat Baldwin announced today.
Sinani is set to wrap up his prep career this season at Oak Creek High School.
"We are very excited to welcome Jasin to the Panther family," Baldwin said. "Throughout Jasin's high school and AAU career, he has demonstrated an ability to score and make plays for himself and his teammates.
A 6-foot-3 guard, Sinani contributed 17.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for the Knights a year ago, earning First-Team All-Southeast Conference accolades.
"We really like his size and versatility, which are attributes that we look for in our program. Jasin is tough, competitive, and has a great work ethic that he has displayed on the court, on the football field, and in the classroom."
He led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists as a junior and has broken the school's season assist record each of the past two years with 108 as a sophomore and 110 as a junior. He also holds the program's career assist record with 266 and counting.
He is the first player from the program to go NCAA DI since 1996 and was a third-team all-league selection as a sophomore. Sinani enjoyed a breakout summer with the Wisconsin Rap AAU program and is ranked No. 33 on the Class of 2021 list by wissports.net. He was also the quarterback for Oak Creek on the gridiron.
