INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior
Kareem Nofel won the 100 Butterfly for the Milwaukee men's swim & dive team in their Horizon League opener in a loss Friday to IUPUI from the IUPUI Natatorium.
Nofel garnered the lone win for the Panthers winning the 100 Butterfly over IUPUI's Cameron Green. Nofel edged out Green with a time of 51.35 to Green's 51.50.
Senior
Jacob Fase gathered two second place finishes at the meet earning valuable points for the Panthers. Fase touched the wall at 59.50 in the 100 Breaststroke with fellow teammate
Brandon Niemiec right behind (59.81) for third. The senior also placed runner-up in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:09.73.
Freshman
Mason Schoof continued to an already impressive freshman resume with two third place finishes in the 200 Freestyle ad 200 Backstroke. Schoof timed in quicker in the 200 Freestyle at IUPUI than last weekend at the All-Wisconsin Showcase for a new PR. Schoof clocked in at 1:43.56 and 1:55.08 in the 200 Backstroke.
The Panthers 400 Freestyle Relay ended the meet on a high note with a second place finish.

Bailey Bodart teamed up and came in at 307.96 just behind IUPUI's 3:06.97.

Dakota Skenandore placed third in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events. Skenandore scored 290.25 points in the 1-meter and 281.95 points in the 3-meter.
The Panthers return home for a dual on Sat., Nov. 2 against Wheaton College. The meet is set begin at 4:30 p.m. from Klotsche Natatorium.
